Avery Deutsch is an actor and playwright from Katonah, New York. She is currently working on her MFA in Playwriting at UT Austin, and studied with our director, Emily Moler, at the Actors Theater of Louisville. Avery has won Clubbed Thumb’s 2022 Biennial Commission, The Hearth Theater’s 2024 virtual retreat and is a recipient of an EST/Sloan Project commission. We are so grateful to have been able to check in with Avery throughout this process, and look forward to having her attend our Q&A after the second night of our run!
